To step up on its ongoing battle with amazon , Walmart will now deliver fresh groceries and put them in your refrigerator when you’re not home.

Walmart’s InHome delivery service will cover  three cities: Pittsburgh; Kansas City, Missouri; and Vero Beach, Florida. The service will cover more than 1 million customers.

The announcement was made ahead of Walmart’s annual shareholders meeting in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Customers can order groceries, select Inhome delivery and date and check out.

Walmart will offer fresh groceries directly to your refrigerator , while you watch remotely via wearable cameras strapped to the workers. This allows shoppers to control access into their home and give them the ability to watch the delivery remotely , when they are away.

“The technology powering InHome Delivery combines the power of our store footprint, store associates, and world-class fresh supply chain,” — Walmart said.

It is to be noted that with Amazon’s service, customer need to have a acamera and a Wi-Fi-connected lock for inhome deleivery services.

“We will learn and then we will scale from there,” Doug McMillon, Walmart CEO, told the crowd of Walmart workers and shareholders.

Walmart tested a similar service in August 207 at Silicon Valley area,  but teamed up with delivery startup Deliv and worked with August Home, makers of smart locks and smart home accessories. That test has since been stopped.

”Now we can serve customers not just in the last mile, but in the last 15 feet,” said Walmart in a statement.
